Dr. Irene Esposito graduated in Medicine and specialized in Pathology at the University of Pisa. Afterwards she moved to the University of Heidelberg in Germany (one of the major European centers on pancreatic pathology directed by Helmut Friess), where she was responsible for the pancreatic diagnostic lab.

La mia formazione specialistica e la mia carriera professionale si sono svolte presso l’Oncologia dell’Istituto Scientifico San Raffaele, dove mi sono specializzato in Radioterapia Oncologica prima e in Oncologia Medica in seguito. Ho iniziato a occuparmi del tumore del pancreas quasi per caso, all’inizio del 1997.

Il Dott. Wilhelm Palm si e’ laureato presso Technical University di Monaco, in Germania. Durante il suo dottorato di ricerca, si e’ poi trasferito al Max Planck Institute for Cell Biology a Dresda, in Germania, dove si e’ occupato di interazione tra trasduzione del segnale e metabolismo.

Dr. Wilhelm Palm obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the Technical University of Munich, Germany. For his PhD, he then moved to the Max Planck Institute for Cell Biology in Dresden, Germany, where he became interested in the interplay between signal transduction and metabolism
